About Richard J. Ragone

From the age of 4, Richard would tag along with his father quietly observing as a fly on the wall at construction sites. At fifteen, he began working for his father during summer vacations. By eighteen, he joined the local heavy equipment operators’ union, and continued in the construction industry through 1986. In 1987, Richard founded the Richard J. Ragone Company, focusing primarily on water and sewer main projects. In the early 2000s, the company expanded into other areas of construction. Today, Richard and his son Matt proudly collaborate on a diverse range of projects, from small-scale builds to large-scale developments, carrying forward a legacy built on experience and dedication.

A construction site featuring a large red crane lifting a concrete section with a massive hole, positioned above a series of similar concrete sections placed in a trench. Workers wearing helmets and high-visibility vests are visible among the structures. In the background, there is a red and brown building and a clear blue sky with some clouds.
